Lily Glass (she/her) is a visual artist living in Columbus, Ohio, working primarily with clay and photography. Deconstructing the dualistic, fundamentalist environment in which she was raised in the southern United States, Lily’s work considers the held value and treatment of women and the natural world through a spiritual ecofeminist lens. Exploring the varied evolution of the individual woman’s journey, Glass utilizes repetition and symbols from past matriarchal cultures to honor the experience and resilience of the collective whole.
Her recent body of work, “Quantifying Care,” is currently on exhibit at the McConnell Arts Center in Worthington, Ohio, through November.
